Aman Goswami

Short Bio

I’m an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems and Operations Management at California State University Northridge in the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics. I completed my Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from the Department of Supply Chain Management at Rutgers Business School under the supervision of Dr. Lian Qi.

My research interests are supply chain operations and healthcare operations management. I am interested in enhancing the resiliency of supply chains using my training in empirical modeling.

I also possess over eight years of industry experience in data science and business analytics at leading consulting and retail firms like Bain and Company, Landmark Group, and Target.

During my Ph.D., I supported CCICADA: Command, Control, and Interoperability Center for Advanced Data Analysis, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Center of Excellence, for researching supply chain disruptions in critical supply chains like pharmaceuticals, medical devices, solar arrays, and food processing. An example of my work can be seen here.

I am also trained in Economics. I received my Bachelors in Economics (Hons.) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, India and my Masters in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi, India. For more details, refer to my CV or send me an Email.
